The Froebelian School Song

Sing we together our happy song,
Lifting our hearts for the journey long.
Here in our school days, we take our stand,
For God, The King and our motherland.
We will uphold all that’s faithful and true,
Fighting our battles as the soldiers do.
Hearing the call we will serve and obey,
This is our endeavour each dawning day.

Here in our island, we love so well,
Fairest and dearest each hill and fell.
Moorland and meadow, we look with pride;
No land so loved as our countryside.
Friends of our schooldays we once knew so well,
Happy the hours and the stories we’ll tell.
We will remember and keep the rule,
‘Serve’ and ‘Endeavour’ and play for the school.
